Every shot from my round at Brinkworth Golf Course, Brinkworth, Chippenham, on 23rd May 2025. 👉 Many more every shot golf vlogs here    • 18 Hole, Every Shot Golf Round Vlogs   I always try to maximise my free golfing time and try to play courses as pairs. Today was no exception, heading east into Wiltshire to try two courses here. The first of those was Brinkworth, in rural surroundings between Chippenham and Swindon. Getting to the course was easy, as was booking on with the BRS system to get a nice early tee time to make use of what was forecast to be a lovely late spring morning. The course at Brinkworth is a nice rolling parkland affair with pleasant views over the English countryside and surrounding farmland. It's a mostly gentle walk with a few holes making use of the one hill that some of the course lies on. It was originally opened as a 9 hole course back in the mid 1980's and was slowly expanded to the 18 hole course it is today. The club now offering incredibly competitive green fees with my round costing just £20. With the incredible period of hot and dry weather early 2025 had given us, numerous clubs up and down the country had been suffering with semi-drought conditions and when I played, Brinkworth was no different. Speaking to the staff after my round, they informed me that they has struggled to source water bowsers, stopping them from tending to the greens, resulting in the bumpy and inconsistent state they were in. I'm sure given more regular weather they would have been in much better condition but as I mention throughout the video, paying just 20 pounds for a full 18 hole round of golf on a beautiful morning, I wasn't put off at all. I enjoyed the course layout and found it to be a good test with some good challenging holes on there, and a few quirky ones with the blind par 3 11th and the final hole too, but overall I thought it was very good and with some more consistent putting surfaces, it offers a great round of golf to all levels. I only spoke to a handful of people on my visit here but all seemed very friendly and welcoming. As I said in the video, please don't pre-judge the greens, I probably played here when they were at their worst and still had a very enjoyable time. The course is great and amazing value too.
