Join me for a 45-minute Pregnancy Yoga class where we will be moving through a low impact, revitalising sequenced flow, designed with the pregnant body in mind. The primary focus of this class is to support and enhance your pre-natal experience all the way through labour. In this class, I will also be taking you through the golding thread breathing meditation which can be used to encourage a sense of relaxation. Yoga can have such a positive and profound impact on your body and mind during your pregnancy. You may have practised yoga before prior to your pregnancy, or it may be your first time on the mat because you're starting this precious new chapter of motherhood. In either scenario, it is never too late to practice yoga - everyone is welcome! The general guidelines state that the best time to start yoga if you have never done it before is in the second trimester, after about 14 weeks. Yoga guidelines advise that you do not try postures in the first trimester, if you are not used to it. Always be mindful of how your body feels and talk to your healthcare provider regarding any health issues. Let me know how you felt after the practice in the comments section below!
