Today's video is about a chocolate cake i made for my first video, now as a full recipe video as i try a new but casual style where i actively talk to you viewers while i cook instead of a voice-over. Recipe: For Cake 300g chocolate (200 dark, 100 milk) 200g butter 4 eggs 150gr sugar 1 sachet vanilla sugar 75g flour 1 teaspoon baking powder For topping: 100g chocolate 50g butter Some full fat milk Steps: 1. Melt the chocolate and butter together via the au bain marie technique. 2. Whisk the eggs together with the sugar and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl 3. Once melted, let the chocolate cool down for 10 minutes, preheat oven to 175°C 4. Add the chocolate to the egg mixture and fold it together. 5. Add the flour and baking powder, fold it together. 6. Prepare your cake mold with a layer of baking paper, greasing the sides against sticking 7. Put the cake batter into the cake mold 8. Bake the cake for 45 minutes total before taking it out and letting it cool down for 30 minutes. 9. Prepare your topping by melting the chocolate, butter and milk au bain marie to create a ganache 10. Spread on top nice and evenly 11. Enjoy your cake, serve with some vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, maybe some fruit.
