THE INFORMATION IN THE VIDEO IS STILL ACCURATE. I APOLOGIZE FOR THE DELAY IN POSTING — I WAS LEARNING HOW TO EDIT AT THE TIME, AND I WORK LONG HOURS IN CONSTRUCTION (OFTEN 12+ HOUR DAYS), SO IT’S TAKEN ME A WHILE TO GET THROUGH AND FINISH EDITING VIDEOS FROM THAT TRIP. (THE CAMBODIA FOOTAGE IS ALL ACCURATE) — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — Deep in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, Tangkoko Nature Reserve comes alive as day turns to night. 🌴🌙 In this 12-minute adventure, my local guide Gina takes me through one of Indonesia’s most fascinating wildlife hotspots. We start on a dramatic black sand beach, pass by a palm oil distillery, and head into the forest where monkeys play freely among the trees. As evening sets, we’re lucky enough to witness the magical moment when Tarsiers wake up, peeking out from their tree hollows with those unmistakable glowing eyes. And once darkness fully falls… things get intense. The night ends with a close encounter with a Sulawesi Violet Tarantula (Purple Tiger Tarantula) — one of the most striking spiders in the world. Let’s just say I wasn’t prepared for how big (or purple) it would be 😅🕷️ If you love wildlife, nature reserves, rare animals, and real travel experiences, this is one you don’t want to miss. 00:00 – Intro 00:59 – Black Sand Beach 02:03 – Palm Wine Distillery 06:47 – Monkeys Playing 08:40 – Tarsiers 12:00 – Sulawesi Violet Tarantula
