A Quick Discussion About Dyeing: My Testing Experience - Expertly Dyed

In this video, I talk a little about my recent dyeing testing experience. I'm currently doing a blind dye test to see which brand I like the best. When doing this type of test, it's best to dye your goods the same depth of shade across the board (and you can certainly change this variable for a complete view of how well the color looks at various shades too!) and to try it on a variety of fibers. Dyeing is a very straight-forward process, and if you're consistent with how you apply the color and how much you use, you'll get similar results each time. The testing I'm doing is a bit more involved than you might want to do, but testing is important if you are planning to dye regularly (for yourself, friends, guild, or business) so you can buy the dyes you are happy with.
