Pleasures end. But the joy of iman never ends. Being connected to Allah gives peace that no wealth or fame can bring. You can lose everything, but if your heart is with Allah, you’re still calm. The Prophet ﷺ said, “Whoever finds pleasure in faith has tasted the sweetness of iman.” (Bukhari, Muslim) That sweetness is unlike anything in the dunya. Because it doesn’t depend on circumstances. It comes from knowing that Allah sees you, guides you, and forgives you. Worldly happiness needs things to go your way. The happiness of iman remains even in hardship. The believer can cry and still be content. Because he knows there’s wisdom, mercy, and reward behind every trial. The scholars said: “The one who does not find joy in worship, will search for it in sin.” Ask yourself. When you pray, do you feel peace? When you remember Allah, do you feel safe? If yes, then you’ve tasted the only happiness that lasts. Everything else ends at death.
