This is the very first video recorded in VHS format of the very first event in the history of Kiabakari Parish right after the decree of the late Bishop of Musoma, H.E. Justin Tetemu Samba who - upon the request of Fr. Wojciech Adam Kościelniak, Fidei Donum missionary from the Archdiocese of Kraków, Poland, to allow him to develop Kiabakari Center to become an independent parish and the center of Divine Mercy spirituality in Tanzania - has agreed to his request and assigned him on November 3, 1991, to do so. His Excellency then arrived to Kiabakari on January 26, 1992 to celebrate the Confirmation Mass and to present Fr. Wojciech to the faithful and - after the Holy Mass - he blessed the plot for the construction of Kiabakari Mission Headquarters and laid the cornerstone for the rectory.
