Build: https://ibb.co/b50bCnQn Can beat even more ordos if you reshuffle skills just before combat to skip CE, get HSystems/CH & dmod, and maybe drop s-aru for dc a sweatier, sp-consuming build: probably better but I cbf beating more ordos when this one works. https://ibb.co/Mxm19G01 After promising to try an asymmetrical gigacannon executor after listening to TK3600's comment, I realised that my previous conclusion from looking at DCR was incorrect. I somehow thought that a remnant showing 50% health still had armor, when it was all hull. Really don't know why I thought that. For example, I tested tachyons, and when I looked at the DCR, it showed that it did less armor damage, and I just dropped them. Yes, HIL would do much more armor damage, but there is only so much armor to go around. A second HIL was completely unnecessary, even without the AI's numerous issues with dual HIL. Those issues are also conveniently absent from a single HIL build. Gigacannons provide much needed extra hardflux, as well as tending to send enemy ships into overload. Its burst nature is very helpful for killing ships before they can disengage. Even then, the gigacannon build struggled with caps. It wasnt too bad, and I had almost defeated 8 ordos with the original build before making a commanding error and losing a cap, as well as pretty easily flawlessing 7 ordos with it. I thus replaced the turret HVDs with needlers, for extra shield DPS. Needlers also are amazing at bursting down remnant frigates' shields, compared to the lackluster semi-functionality of HVD+IRAL. With these changes, I was able to remove the locusts for pilums, freeing up both EMR and a skill, which I deemed ballistic mastery as the next best pick. No EMR frees up a lot of OP, and you actually get to pick the last hullmod (or two) on your own. I just went with ECCM and it worked, though you could probably go with anything good, like CH/UI, exshields, RFC, (s-)exmamgs, SCO, HS. Not sure how much they help overall, since DCR shows pilums still did very middling damage with it. Opinions welcome.
