In this video, I am going to show you a rehearsal and a drill "Ear hops" that teach you how to do - in three simple steps - the best recovery and entry phase in freestyle swimming to get more propulsion for free. 1st Step --- Understand correct arm movement due to one-hand rehearsal 2nd Step --- Rehearsal With Both Hands to understand the whole cycle 3rd Step --- Try all in the swimming drill and gradually implement all features to your stroke Features that you will learn and that can boost your freestyle swimming: Recovery Phase* 1) start the move with your shoulder blade 2) the elbow leads the move 3) stop the elbow at the level of goggles and set the forearm at an angle of 45 degrees The Phase of Entry** 4) slightly enter your "fingers - wrist - forearm" like into a "mailbox" 5) reach as far forward as possible 6) within the line of your shoulder Leading arm 7) hold the position of your leading arm all the time until the entry.
