So many people when they hear the word "Mindanao" are prone to talking about danger, "bad people" and conflict. It is moments like this that inspire me, and moments like this that encourage me to continue sharing the beauty of this part of the Philippines. I had 11 amazing young foreign friends come visit my home "Region 10" for a few days. I took them on a journey around my hometown Cagayan de Oro, and to the province of Bukidnon which is just nearby! This Video is a prime example of what it is like travelling around Northern Mindano…. Except there is a little bit of added extras as I tried to convince my friends to do a few Filipino things… such as Videoke, eating balut, and riding around in Motorelas (or in this case singing in one). Of course we had lot of "Tagay" and my friends had a taste of both Red Horse, and Tanduay! Local Style on the streets and at a cold springs! One day at a time, One visitor at a time… #BecomingFilipino Super Apir!!
