Carrot and Leek Mashed Potatoes

Welcome to STUDENT MEALZ! How to make carrot and leek mashed potatoes? Well today we're going to tell you just that ;p == INGREDIENTS == 5 to 6 potatoes 2 carrots 1 leek Some butter Some whole milk Salt Pepper Nutmeg == RECIPE == 1. Chop up about half of the leek into chunky bits 2. Rinse it thoroughly 3. Peel the carrots and potatoes (optional) 4. Chop them up into chunky bits 5. Put the carrots and potatoes in water and boil until soft 6. About 10 minutes before they're done add the leek to boil until done 7. Drain the water and separate some of the carrots and potatoes from the rest 8. Add butter and milk to what's left 9. Season with pepper, salt and nutmeg 10. Mash it up 11. Add the veggies you just set aside and mix it up 12. If required you can give them another mash 13.
