This is video two in my five-part skin peel series. In this video, I am going to exfoliate and strengthen my skin really well so I can use a lower percentage of TCA acid so I stay safe. I always want the top layer of my skin to be as flawless as possible before I apply the main peel solution. My goal is to remove dead skin thickness, oil and to brighten pigmentation prior to the main peel so that I use a 10% solution and get a beautiful peel that peels quickly. The more I exfoliate and prepare my skin, the easier it is for the TCA to penetrate. When working with clients my job is to keep them safe and to know when a client cannot tolerate a peel. This is learned through training and years of experience. In this video I used: 1. Six pumps of my Advanced Exfoliating Cleanser. I spent about one min working it into my skin focusing on the area of concerns like my pigmentation and forehead. If I don't exfoliate properly before the main peel solution is applied, the more TCA solution I'll need to apply which I don't want so I can minimize the risk of massive inflammation which causes burns, scarring, and PIH. Feel free to improvise and use what you can but I'll leave some links in case you are curious to see what I am using. Advanced Exfoliating Cleanser ( NEW FORMULA): https://montarboskincarestore.com/adv... 2. Then I applied about 10 drops of my Salicylic Acid Treatment. This part is very important. Oil causes neutralization and unpredictable acid absorption which can lead to chemical burns and scarring. Use rubbing alcohol if that all you got. 3. Then I applied 10-15 drops of my Advanced Lactic BrightiengTreatment. This lets me test the skin to make sure the skin isn't too sensitive and give me another layer of exfoliation. Often in office, I'll use my Lactic Acid and discover the client can not do a peel because their skin is not ready and too sensitive. 4. Then I applied my professional 15% Fruit Gel to cause more exfoliation. This is not necessary for you, I did this because my skin is tough. Improvise and use what you have. If you stop at step 3 and apply your TCA acid you should be fine and get a good peel. Love this series? Please let me know below. Stay safe and gorgeous.
