Ingredients 650g Pork Mince 500g Pork Shoulder cubed small ½ tsp Thyme 1 Tsp sage 1 tsp Black pepper 1 ½ tsp salt 50g bread crumbs 1 egg to egg wash Jelly 260 ml water 6g Gelatin powder 1 tbsp pork seasoning or chicken stock cube Hot water pastry 600g All Purpose Flour 1 tsp salt 110g Butter 130g Shortening https://amzn.to/3EzoWf5 200g water Cooking 170 degrees will cook this pie but it has to be started uncovered then covered to stop burning then finish off uncovered. Now I would imagine that this pie will cook in about 40 mins. This was an experiment. I would do the first 170c degrees at 8 mins. That will get the top nice = cover the pie (video) 170c degrees for 25 mins 170c degrees for about 7 mins - but have a look. Hot water crust pastry if very forgiving. NOW DO NOT FORGET this was an experiment I have not cooked the pie.
