I actually have one more video for this game before I give it a rest for real. Little do many people know, there's actually a second opening for this game. It's simple to get it, really... Just let the game run the opening again after it already did before, either by letting it rest at the Title Screen, or more likely, after beating the game. Something really awesome happens, here, but you need to watch the entire video to see it. ... ... ... ... ... ... -------------- Nah, I'm just kidding. It's mostly just the same as the first opening. APRIL FOOLS!!! There are only two differences between the first and second openings. The first difference is that the second opening has a different narration at the beginning. The second difference is... well... Did you watch the whole video before reading this? I never saw that coming. -------------- ==POST-PROJECT THOUGHTS== Again, thanks for watching my playthroughs of both Musashi: Samurai Legend, and its prequel, Brave Fencer Musashi, for that matter. The combined total of videos I made between both games is a whopping 120! Time to drop some of trivia, and my two cents on both Musashiden games: It's too bad that this Samurai Legend didn't do as well as Brave Fencer in both sales and ratings, and even then both of these games weren't that big to begin with compared to the likes of Final Fantasy & Kingdom Hearts. For example, Brave Fencer Musashi probably wouldn't have sold as well as it did, if it weren't for it having a demo of Final Fantasy VIII. Considering the hype and praise Final Fantasy VII way back when... For Musashi: Samurai Legend's case, it looked like 2004-2006 were turbulent years for Square Enix's Tokyo division to develop and release several big budget games after its merger between Square & Enix. Samurai Legend was more of a side project and an experiment in comparison that was made from Square Enix's Osaka division, which also includes some of the staff that worked on the first two Parasite Eve series, and even Brave Fencer Musashi itself. I may never, ever, EVER... see a 3rd, completely-new Musashi game ever get made, and it's very likely that this game is to blame for it. It's too bad, because despite its flaws, I swear I saw some potential in it that could've been put to better use if Square Enix used more of its KH staff for it. A good alternative for me would be either a direct/true sequel to Brave Fencer, a direct follow up to Samurai Legend, or better yet, a crossover between the characters of Brave Fencer & Samurai Legend. I'd LOVE that like I already enjoy Sonic Generations for it. But know this. After Musashi Samurai Legend flopped and underperformed, most of the Square Enix Osaka staff that worked on it moved on to better projects later, such as creating Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. They are currently the ones creating the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts III! So although the Musashiden series is pretty much dead at this point (BFM - 1998, MSL - 2005. Over 10 years since Samurai! OVER 17 YEARS SINCE FENCER!!!), the people that helped make it will likely live on through their work on Kingdom Hearts. Yes, I know. I'm obviously a huge fan, so one more time. THANKS FOR WATCHING!
