We often hear statements like 'reduce stress', 'prioritise sleep', 'eat well' or 'just make time for exercise' but how do you do that when you're being pulled in 15 different directions simultaneously? We work, we may have kids, elderly parents or unwell partner, not to mention work stresses. We are indeed the sandwich generation. So, how can we put some of these practices into place so we can improve our own health? Dr Lee David has worked as a GP for many ears but more recently has focused on mental health and is working within the NHS to help improve staff mental health.
