This week, we're out on the water, fixing things at home, crossing borders, and celebrating Maria's birthday - all in one slightly unpredictable episode of life in France! We begin where we're happiest: cruising along the River Lot from our own dock. Surrounded by birdsong and riverside views, we pass old stone houses, favourite restaurants, and curious wildlife. It's one of the many reasons we love where we live - and yes, we now offer private river tours for visitors! Then it's time to celebrate: we head to Roses in Spain for Maria's birthday. Gorgeous scenery, great seafood… and surprisingly cheap supermarkets! So yes, we shamelessly stock up on chicken - because it's literally half the price of what we'd pay in France. It's a mix of reflection, laughter, and discovery.
