If you have ever had an Oreo ball, then you know how good they are and if you haven’t, then you are definitely going to ask them where they have been all of your life. Yes they are that good! These are so simple to make with only three ingredients. You can choose to make these the old-fashioned way by crushing your Oreos in a Ziploc baggie and using a rolling pin and then adding in your softened cream cheese, closing the baggie up and then squeezing the cream cheese into the cookies until it creates a dough. Or you can use a chopper like the black and decker that I have in this video and whip them up in no time. Either way works great! Oreo bowl recipe : 40 regular Oreo cookies 8 ounces softened cream cheese 20 ounces of melting candy such as almond bark is what I prefer crush your Oreos in your chopper until it is into a fine dust. Now add in your softened cream cheese and mix until it creates a dough. Form them into small balls, using a small scooper or a tablespoon and place them on a wax paper line cookie sheet. Cover with another cookie sheet if you have one or with more waxed paper or aluminum foil. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours or longer if needed. Melt your dipping chocolate or your almond bark according to the package. Dip the cold Oreo balls into the melted candy using two spoons or any other method you prefer. Place them on waxed paper until they dry! Since these have cream cheese in them, you will need to refrigerate them if they are not eaten soon!! Enjoy and let me know how you like them if you have never had them! If they are something you have made then share your tips and tricks with me. I love to learn new things. This is not a recipe that I created, but it is one that I have been making for over 20 years and my family loves them so much !!
