I first decided to make chocolate soil as a base to put my strawberry ice cream on. It’s shockingly easy and quite literally only needs three ingredients (two, if you don’t count the little splash of water). I wouldn't call this a dish by itself— it's more of a secondary element that would help a dessert really shine. Especially desserts that pair beautifully with chocolate. I've used a 70% dark chocolate here, but I'd go way higher, because you do need a fair amount of sugar to generate the sort of crystalline crumble that'd make a good, non-sticky, crumbly soil.
