New orders for GoAhead London have been announced. 38 BYD eBus BD11s have been ordered. These are for routes 129 and 320, in south east London. This adds to the order for routes 101, 321, 333, 473 and SL4. GoAhead have also ordered 131 Wright StreetDeck Electroliners. This is part of their huge deal with Wrightbus for 1,200 electric buses. 53 Wright GB Kite Electroliners have also been ordered. The full list of routes that will use the StreetDecks and GB Kites have not been announced. However, StreetDeck Electroliners have been confirmed for route 151. ADL BYD Enviro400 EVs were initially ordered for the route. However, these could not navigate the tight turn at Worcester Park Station properly. Now for more information on the routes involved, starting with route 129. BYD BD11s will replace the Enviro400 diesel double deckers currently running on the route. This route runs from North Greenwich Bus Station to Lewisham Shopping Centre. Via Millenium Village, Millenium Leisure Park, Vanbrugh Hill, The National Maritime Museum, Greenwich Town Centre, Greenwich Station, And Blackheath Road. Route 129 was extended to Lewisham in 2022. The route previously terminated in Greenwich. Route 129 will be extended in 2025. The route will run north of the river Thames via the new Blackwall tunnel. The route's new terminus will be Great Eastern Quay. The peak vehicle requirement will increase from 7 to 22. Route 129 will also transfer to Blue Triangle from Henley Road (DS) garage. Route 129 runs every 12 to 20 minutes. The route runs from New Cross (NX) garage. Route 129 is 4 miles (7km) long. Route 129 runs from 05:20 until 01:20. A full journey on route 129 takes 20 to 40 minutes. Wright StreetDeck Electroliners will replace Optare Olympus diesel double deckers on route 151. These are the last of their type in TfL service. They were replaced by Wright Gemini 3 hybrids and ADL BYD Enviro400 EVs on route 80. They were also replaced on routes 93, 154 and 213 by ADL BYD Enviro400 EVs. Route 151 runs from Worcester Park Station to Wallington. Via Worcester Park Town Centre, North Cheam, Cheam Leisure Centre, Cheam Broadway, Sutton Town Centre, Sutton Green, Rosehill Park West, Rosehill Roundabout, St Helier Hospital, Wrythe Green, Hackbridge Corner, And Wallington Station. Route 151 is currently allocated one Wright StreetDeck Electroliner. The bus, EL1 (LY71GHZ), was a demonstrator. This is currently GoAhead's only Electroliner, though more have been ordered. This bus was previously trialled on route 40. It was also used by RATP on route 23. Route 151 runs every 10 to 20 minutes. The route runs from Sutton (A) garage. Route 151 is 9 miles (15 km) long. A full journey on route 151 takes 40 to 60 minutes. BYD eBus BD11s will replace several bus types on route 320. The oldest of these are Enviro400 Tridents and E40Ds. Enviro400 Hybrids and Enviro400 MMC hybrids are also used. Route 320 runs from Catford Bridge Station to Biggin Hill Valley. Via Lewisham Town Hall, Catford Bus Garage, Catford Police Station, Bromley Road, Bromley Town Centre, Bromley South Station, Bromley Common, The Keston Mark, Keston Church, Biggin Hill Airport Passenger Terminal, And Biggin Hill. Route 320 runs every 12 to 20 minutes. The route runs from Orpington (MB) garage. Route 320 is 12 miles (19km) long. A full journey on route 320 takes 40 to 60 minutes. Three Enviro400 Tridents transferred to Orpington (MB) garage to run on routes there. E115 (LX09FBF) has since transferred to Morden Wharf (MG). This bus can now be seen running on routes 178, 286 and 291. E121 (LX09FBU) has transferred to Croydon (C). This bus now runs on route 119. This leaves E122 (LX09FBV) as the only remaining Enviro400 Trident at Orpington (MB). This bus runs on routes 126, 208, 320 and R9. The three Enviro400s ran on routes at Merton (AL) garage before being transferred. They were allocated to route 57 before being replaced by Enviro400 EVs. The Enviro400 Tridents ran on routes 57, 131, 157, 163 and 200 at Merton (AL). E162 (SN11BUW) has also transferred from Merton (AL).
