Skidoo Ride to Cox’s Cove, NL | Scenic Views, Good Eats & Friendly Locals

Adventures with Cole Ep. 13 We ride by skidoo into the beautiful and historic Cox's Cove on an unforgettable winter adventure through western Newfoundland. Along the way, we stop for fuel in McIvers before continuing into the backcountry to Frenchman's Pond, a peaceful, snow-covered pond surrounded by rugged wilderness. Before reaching town, we also check out the frozen Cox’s Cove waterfalls, a hidden winter gem just outside the community. Once in Cox’s Cove, we park the skidoo and walk through the quiet coastal town to Lynn's Takeout & Convenience for a hot meal. Inside, we meet one of the owners, place our order, and warm up before heading back out into the cold. To finish the day, we ride up an old logging road to a scenic mountain lookout. With the sun setting behind the peaks and the sky lighting up in incredible colour, we take a moment to appreciate the view before making the ride home in the dark.
