Playing along to the song "Gina" by The Stray Cats. (Sounds best in headphones.) It's from their fifth album "Blast Off" released in 1989 after a three-year break for the band. It also includes probably my favorite song by them, "Gene and Eddie". The song "Gina wasn't a hit, but I really like this song a lot and thought it would be fun to play. The Cats are a great band. They had the musicianship, songs, live show, and cool look all in one package. To me Brian Setzer is a fantastic guitarist and should be included in any list of top guitarists. He's an excellent singer as well. I saw the Stray Cats a couple times, but the only ticket I could find was for Saturday October 29, 1983 at the Masonic Temple in Detroit. I also saw Brian Setzer at Harpo's in Detroit on Thursday May 1, 1986. Video recorded Sunday evening, February 8, 2026. No Copyright Infringement Intended.
