The Fine Art of Medicine: Teaching Humanism in Clinical Environment

The Academic Medicine Education Institute (AM•EI) Distinguished Lecture features renowned healthcare experts who will share insights on education in Academic Medicine, innovation in pedagogical methods and educational research. The lecture seeks to enrich the education landscape in Duke-NUS and SingHealth, and enable professionals to exchange ideas at the forefront of healthcare education. An expert in teaching humanism and medical ethics, Prof Bill Branch provided valuable insights on the use of transformative learning, reflective learning and other methods, in humanism to better train our healthcare professionals for improved patient care.
