Meeting the Challenge of Public Health: What’s Ahead for Congress and the Administration

January 24, 2025: As a new Presidential Administration and Congress assume office in the United States, several infectious disease threats loom. Amid uncertainty in funding and policy, pandemic related programs and legislation exist that will have an impact on the nation’s resilience to these threats. Pandemic Center Director and Professor of Epidemiology Jennifer Nuzzo, DrPH, convenes a panel of experts to discuss these challenges, what gains might be possible, and the state of play for existing pandemic legislation.
