Biosecurity Game Changers Seminar: Biosecurity, Biosafety, and the 100-Days Mission

March 14, 2025: The second event in a seminar series hosted by the Pandemic Center Biosecurity Game Changers Fellows took place, titled "Biosecurity, Biosafety, and the 100-Days Mission." Convened and moderated by and intended for early-to-mid-career professionals, the Game Changers Seminar Series shines a spotlight on major challenges that will confront the next generation of biosecurity leaders and impactful next steps that can be taken to lean forward faster to prevent biological crises. Who: The second seminar in this series was moderated by Dr. Diana Stella Nasike, Biosecurity Game Changers Fellow and a Health Security Policy Officer at Uganda’s National Public Health Emergency Operations Centre as well as a Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Health’s Directorate of Public Health. The panel included top experts in the field: Dr. Claire Standley, Senior Biosecurity Initiatives Lead at the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI). Dr. Talkmore Maruta, Director of Programs at the African Society For Laboratory Medicine (ASLM).
