This is a step by step guide on how to perform one of the more challenging calisthenic movements. The 90* HSPU and HSPU require a lot of shoulder,triceps and core strength. Follow the progressions in this tutorial and as you get stronger move onto the next progression. Once you can perform 3 sets of 5 reps without breaking form on a set progression, move onto the next one. This is a general tutorial aimed at anyone willing to put the time and effort into achieving this gravity defying movement.
