Experience the beauty of Bonn's Cherry Blossom season 2025 in 4K! 🌸 Join me on a peaceful walking tour through Bonn's historic Old Town (Altstadt), where entire streets are transformed into magical pink tunnels by blooming cherry trees (German: Kirschblüte). This yearly event attracts thousands of visitors and photographers from around the world. It is always in April and the maximum flowering period lasts only two weeks. In this video, we'll walk through iconic cherry blossom hotspots like Heerstraße and Breite Straße, while enjoying the natural sounds of the city-no commentary, just pure ambience. Bonn is located about 30 km south of Cologne in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia and has a population of around 320,000. From 1949 until 1990, it served as the temporary seat of government during the division of Germany. Bonn was the birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 - 1827). Jedes Jahr verwandelt sich die Altstadt von Bonn im Bereich Breite Straße und Heerstraße in ein pinkes Meer aus Kirschblüten. Die Zeit der maximalen Blüte dauert etwa zwei Wochen an. In diesem Zeitraum sind hier dann besonders viele Touristen unterwegs. An den Wochenenden werden sogar die Straßen für Autos gesperrt. Mit meiner Kamera bin ich durch die komplette Krischblüten-Siedlung gelaufen. Klar gibt es in Bonn noch viel mehr zu sehen, aber dafür mach ich demnächst ein eigenes Video.
