Day 10 Lenten Reflection – February 27 Joseph: Betrayal / Injustice | Trust in God’s Plan Today we reflect on the life of Joseph, son of Jacob (Genesis 37–50). Betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and imprisoned, Joseph experienced deep injustice. Yet he refused to cling to resentment or allow betrayal to define him. Instead, he remained faithful — and in time, God raised him to a position where he could save many lives. Joseph’s powerful words remind us: “You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.” (Genesis 50:20) This reflection explores: • How to release resentment • Trusting God during unfair situations • Refusing to let betrayal shape your identity • Seeing God’s providence in delayed seasons Lent invites us to surrender our wounds and trust that God can redeem what was meant for harm. Action for Today: Release one resentment in prayer. Name it honestly and surrender it to God. Ask Him to replace bitterness with peace.
