Dinner at Pulau Tikus Food Market, Exploring Penang streets at night, Durian season has started!

Another fun weekend for us even though the weather has been pretty wet all week! We managed to squeeze in a few games of pickleball and Isaac started to play football. He is a fast learner! After dinner we decided to try having dinner at the newly opened Pulau Tikus Food Market right on the corner of Burmah Road and Cantonment Road. There are 3 entrances: Bangkok Lane, Burmah Road and Cantonment Road. There are so many choices for food there and quite busy... watch our family and friends try various Penang food at this venue. After dinner we walked a short distance to Moulmein Rise to have a coffee, on the way we passed by the pasar or market food stalls which was strangely empty, perhaps due to the rain and also the newly opened foodcourt. We spoke to a durian seller and she informed us that durians have started to drop in Balik Pulau! Which means we ought to make a trip there soon! We regrouped at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for a chat and ended the weekend on a high note!
