(17 Jun 1999) Natural Sound President Bill Clinton has been on a walkabout in Paris, shaking hands and talking to local residents after holding private talks with his French counterpart President Jacques Chirac. Clinton appeared in a relaxed mood as he spent a few hours strolling though the streets of Paris on Thursday afternoon. Flanked by bodyguards, he received a rapturous welcome by onlookers. Thursday's bilateral talks with Chirac focused on peacekeeping and reconstruction in Kosovo. From Paris, President Clinton will fly to Cologne, Germany, to attend a summit of the Group of Seven plus Russia, where Kosovo will also dominate the agenda. In Cologne, Clinton will also consult one-on-one with Yeltsin, Britain's Tony Blair and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, as well as with the leaders of Japan, Italy and Canada.
