JOSH AND NIKKI BIKE ACROSS AMERICA

Josh and Nikki’s trip across America ended on July 16th in Yorktown Virginia, 67 days after starting out their adventure in San Francisco under the Golden Gate Bridge. Like they had begun at the Golden Gate, they posed for a finish shot in front of the Yorktown Monument, some 3939 miles from that starting point. Somewhere in between they lived a great adventure,met new friends, saw new sights, ate fun food, drank some beer and even found time to stop, rest and smell the roses There is a lot more than miles resting on these wonderful souls. Life experiences, bonding, friendships, photos and thoughts of the road rest in their minds. If ever there was a time when you felt you could do anything, this is their time. We can only imagine and take what they have shared with us to get an idea of this amazing ride. Starting this voyage out as casual bike enthusiast they now finish experienced veterans of the road, with a impressive set of credentials, might I add. They biked across America! Let me tell you the joy far out weighed the worry while following along with my heart and soul on their journey. Josh and I only spoke once on the phone, I didn’t want to obligate him to daily phone calls I and didn’t want to worry when he lost cell service. Relying on text messages, Tumblr, Instagram and Facebook, I was able to keep regular contact with them. We are all so very proud and impressed ,not only by their completion of this quest, but the fact that they had the vision that they could do this, planned for it, saved for it, arranged their lives for it and did it.
