In this video, I walk you through 5 weight-bearing exercises that can be done seated and that address both arms and legs. Weight-bearing exercises can be very helpful to improve strength, temporarily reduce high muscle tone and spasticity, improve bone density and provide proprioceptive input to our joints, muscles, and tendons (so we better know where our body is in space). What You’ll Need: A bed or couch to sit on A sturdy surface to hang on to Someone else to help, if you’re unstable sitting upright A pillow Willingness to work out with me!
