Today was one of those days. Winds coming from the east and a good bit of gust. Good recipe for me to fly and practice some crosswind landings. The flight plan today is to take a short flight to Fulton county airport and do some landings there with a friend and flight instructor. Although the flight was short, it got really bumpy,. i totally underestimated the winds. It was so windy and bumpy that I decided to hand fly the entire flight. Using autopilot to fly in these situations can result in over correction, so it's safer (for me) to just fly by hand. Stay tuned for the landing videos.
