Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend for around 30 seconds until a fine powder with slightly larger pieces is formed. Store in the fridge in an airtight container. For the pasta 1. Wash well the cherry tomatoes and slice them in half. 2. Peel and slice the garlic cloves, or grate them if you'd like. 3. Put the tomatoes and garlic in a saucepan, add basil leaves (leave 2-3 for decoration) and cook them on the stove until the cherry tomatoes start to soften. Let them simmer for a few minutes. You can also cook them longer so the cherry tomatoes start to release all of their juices and become a sauce. It's up to you 🙂 4. Start cooking the pasta simultaneously with the tomatoes. Place a pot with water on the stove and wait till it boils. Cook the pasta. I used chickpea spaghetti where recommended cooking time is 7 minutes. However, I always cook them for 4:45 minutes exactly and then rinse them in tepid water. This way they don’t stick together and don’t fall apart after I mix them with the sauce. Save 1 cup of pasta water as well. 5. Transfer the cooked pasta to the saucepan with the tomatoes and mix. Be careful not to break the pasta if it's gluten-free.
