Pork Tenderloin Biscuits with Apple and Onion Jam #biscuits #pork #breakfast Pork Tenderloin Biscuits with Brie Cheese and Apple and Onion Jam For this video we wanted to cook something that would warm your soul, and trust me this will! **What You Need** Pork Tenderloin Some good Biscuits (Homemade or Frozen or Whop) Brie Cheese 2 Medium Sized Onions 1 Can of Apple Pie Filling (about 2 cups) Mississippi Grit Killer Hogs Hot Rub To start, get your 2 onions and apple pie filling in a grill safe container and get them on the pit at 400 degrees. I added a little butter just because. I used my Grilla Grills Silverbac for this recipe and it made it super easy. Season you pork tenderloins with you favorites rubs. Of course you know my favorites. Allow the rubs to sit for a few minutes and get them on the pit too at 400 degrees. Make sure to keep a close eye on the internal temps and remove from the pit once the internal hits 140 degrees. Stir the apple and onions every now and then to keep them from sticking. For the biscuits, I used some frozen biscuits which are very good. If you have time I know some good homemade biscuits would be even better. I placed them in a greased cast iron skillet making sure the biscuits were touching to help them rise. Place the skillet of biscuits on the pit. At about the 15 minute mark, I brushed them with some butter to help them get good and brown. I went ahead and removed the apple and onions from the pit. Added a little salt and cayenne pepper just to add a little more flavor. Once the biscuits were done, I removed them from the pan and allow them to cool a little. Used a sharp knife to cut the biscuits in half and started assembling the biscuits. Once assembled they went back on the pit just long enough to melt the cheese. These biscuits turned out awesome and will make for a great fall time recipe. I know I will be cooking them again soon! Give this recipe a try and let us know what you think!
