Is This the Most Australian Place in the UK? (Devon, England)

We’ve only just realised something… Josie might have loved Australia so much because her home in Devon feels surprisingly similar. Today we’re exploring the beaches and places she grew up, joined by our first ever guest on the channel… Josie’s mum! 😊 Devon is located in the South West of England, and it’s where Josie grew up in North Devon, surrounded by some of the best beaches in the UK. In this video, Josie takes us around her home, visiting her favourite places and the spots that helped shape who she is today. We start at a “secret beach” called Lee Bay… and it definitely wasn’t easy to get to. It’s a beautiful little spot where Josie spent lots of time as a kid, and once you see it, you’ll understand why 😍 Next up is Barricane Beach, which is actually Josie’s favourite beach… although she says that about a few beaches in this video 😂 We also visit Josie’s old workplace, Billy Budds, a small pub in Croyde, North Devon, where we stop for some food and answer a few community questions with Josie and her mum. Then Josie takes us for what she claims is “the best ice cream in the UK”… apparently 👀 Finally, we head to an old swimming spot in Braunton before finishing the day at Saunton Beach, and Saunton is actually a special place for us, it’s where we first got together and became “official” 😅 We hope this video gave you a bit of insight into Josie’s life and backstory.
