A video showing Aircoach services in Ireland, recorded throughout 2024. Aircoach started operating coach services between Dublin city centre and Dublin Airport in 1999, making 2024 its 25th year of operation. Initially an independently owned operation, by 2005 it had been sold to First Group. Over the years it has expanded its Dublin Airport network to serve not only different parts of Dublin, but also different parts of the island of Ireland. Along with expansion, there is often retraction too. Both of these situations were true for Aircoach during 2024. At the start of the year the company had three main routes in Dublin. The most frequent was the 700 which ran every fifteen minutes between Dublin Airport and Leopardstown on the southern edge of the city. Less frequent were routes 702 to Greystones and 703 to Killiney from Dublin Airport. However, around July the Dublin network was revised and route 700 was extended to Cherrywood and the frequency was cut back to half-hourly. Route 703 was abolished and mostly absorbed into a new route 702 to Greystones. A new route 701 was also introduced to Ballsbridge from Dublin Airport. The long distance network was also modified this year. At the start of the year Aircoach offered services from Dublin to Belfast, Derry, Galway and Cork, but in April the Galway route was dropped. Not only does Aircoach provide these coach services to Dublin Airport, it also operates some of the car park shuttles at the airport. Whereas the coach services are operated by Plaxton Panthers and Mercedes Tourismos, the eVoRa is the bus of choice on the car park shuttles. The coach in the special 25th Anniversary livery makes an appearance on the extended route 700, while a variety of all-over ads feature throughout this video. Most of these clips were recorded before the Dublin network changes, and therefore feature routes 700, 702 and 703. Route 701 does not feature, although there are a few clips of coaches operating the extended route 700.
