In the build-up to GCSE and A level exams, exam anxiety can become a significant challenge for many students, and for the teachers and school leaders supporting them. This evidence-based webinar is designed to help schools better understand, identify and respond to exam anxiety, with practical strategies that can be applied immediately in school settings. Meet the speaker: Professor of Education David W. Putwain, Liverpool John Moores University Professor Putwain taught in school sixth forms and colleges from 1994 to 2006 before moving into academia. His research focuses on how psychological factors influence learning and achievement, with a particular interest in exam anxiety and interventions to support students effectively. He is Editor-in-Chief of the British Journal of Educational Psychology.
