Ingredients: Ghee - 1 tbsp Cashew nuts - 12-14 Raisins - 1 tbsp Makhana (Foxnuts) - 2 cups Sugar - ⅓ cup Water - 2 tbsp Milk - 1 litre Saffron milk - 1 tbsp Cardamom powder - ½ tsp Roasted fruits & dry nuts for garnish Step-by-Step Method: Roast cashews and raisins in ghee; set aside. Roast makhana until crispy; cool slightly. Coarsely grind 1½ cups and keep ½ cup whole. Prepare golden caramel from ⅓ cup sugar and 2 tbsp water on medium-low heat (avoid burning). TIP: Do not stir the sugar - just gently swirl the pan. Boil milk on medium heat, then add caramel milk, ground makhana, and whole makhana. Cook on medium heat, stirring every now and then. Cook till the makhana softens and the milk reduces by one-third. Add saffron milk and cardamom powder; mix well and simmer for 2 minutes.
