Ramadan Mubarak! 🌙✨ Welcome to Day 2 of Sp's special Ramadan Cooking Series! After starting sweet yesterday, today we are getting our hands floury with a kitchen milestone. We’re attempting something we’ve never made before: Homemade Garlic Butter Focaccia Bread. If you’ve always been intimidated by yeast and bread-making, come learn along with us! There is something so therapeutic about dimpling the dough and watching it rise. It’s the perfect fluffy, salty side dish to pair with a warm bowl of soup for Iftar. Since it was our first time, we kept it simple and classic! In this video, we’re using these pantry staples: • 4g Yeast • 230g Warm water • 15g Sugar • 1 cup all purpose flour + 1 cup atta flour (you can also use 2 cups of all purpose flour ) • 1 teaspoon salt • A generous amount of Olive Oil • Toppings: garlic, butter, rosemary, dried herbs and chili flakes Crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside. We couldn't believe we actually made bread! One bite of this warm, herby bread and you’ll never want store-bought again.
