Series 4 episode 6: One of Toad’s passions actually comes in useful, as he soars above the countryside in his hot-air balloon, with an unwilling passenger. 00:00 Intro 00:59 Episode 19:00 End Credits ••• Spoilers! ••• One beautiful, summer’s day finds Toad deliriously happy at the arrival of his latest toy – a hot-air balloon. Rat and Mole are disgusted by his frivolity, but Badger sees a practical use for it – to reveal just how close the railway line is getting to their homes. While Toad is preparing himself for the trip, the Henchman weasel sneaks into the basket for 40 winks, but the balloon is accidently released by Mole, and he wakes up to find himself airbourne, with Toad for company. Mole follows the balloon as best he can in Toad’s car, while Toad is thoroughly enjoying himself in the air, taking photographs and being disgustingly cheerful to the air-sick weasel before the balloon’s journey comes to an abrupt end in a tree-top. Toad, for a change, has done his job well, and it is Mole that is now taken with a new craze – “Motoring! It’s the only thing!” The Wind in the Willows season 4 episode 6, "Hot Air"! ••• More shows for kids! ••• ▶▶ Subscribe for new episodes every day ▶▶ / @littleboattv ▶▶ Watch more episodes of The Wind in the Willows ▶▶ • The Wind in the Willows || Full Episodes ••• About #TheWindInTheWillows ••• Using stop-motion animation, this internationally acclaimed, BAFTA and Emmy award-winning series follows Mole as he sets out to discover the world of Edwardian England in 1908, in a beautiful and timeless animated version of the iconic children’s book by Kenneth Grahame.
