This Pot was Missing a Lid - So I Made One from Wood Scraps

My girlfriend has been learning pottery this year, and together we wanted to give one of her pieces to my mother for Christmas. The only problem: the little jar didn’t have a lid. So I decided to make one out of wood - a small collaboration between clay and timber, folded into a handmade gift. I kept all the natural sounds in this video - sawing, sanding, carving, taps and scrapes - and no music. I think there’s something very calming about it.
