Add yeast mixture and buttermilk. Stir just until moist. Chill 1 hour. Knead dough on a heavily floured surface. Roll to 2 inches thick. Cut with a lightly floured biscuit cutter or a floured glass. Place on a greased baking sheet. Rub cold butter over the tops. Bake for 13 minutes, until golden.
