The Purpose of this webinar is to help customers understand the testing requirements for copper and fiber interface, analog and digital, destined for either the US or international marketplace. This is a broad overview of a wide array of interfaces from copper interfaces, such as T1, xDSL and POTS to fiber interfaces such as OC-3, OC-12 OC-48 and OC-192 and their international equivalents Discussion will include critical testing vs. non-critical for both the US and international markets. Basic standards such as the analog ACTA TIA/EIA-IS-968 (Formerly Known as FCC Part 68) Industry Canada IC CS-03 standards and digital interface standards including: ETSI TBRs 1, 2, 3, 4, 12, 13, 24 and ITU-T Standards G.703, G.704, G.706, G.823, G.824 This webinar will also discuss overcurrent protection standards developed by the International Telecommunications Union for a wide range of newer devices now connecting to the network, such as routers, set-top units, cable modems, ONTs, xDSL modems, and WLL.
