Presented by Dr. Asiayah Yu Lin, Pistoia Alliance, Inc. Abstract: "This paper focuses on the comparison of semantic modeling of medicinal products in the newly developed IDxNorm and SNOMED CT. Ontology level summary of each resource: Drug Ontology, RxNorm, DRON, MEDDRA Products A high-level IDMP-0 and existing resources; their diverse cases, scope, and background in depth comparison representing medicinal product or clinical drug was discussed. Use of these resources for representing every structural molecule claim turned dissimilarities use for example. The IDMP-0 is a comprehensive ontological representation of medicinal products covering manufactured product aspects. The detailed representation of the strength of these resources are temporal to harmonize some entity across different jurisdictions. The IDMP-0 does not contain controlled vocabularies. It is possible to integrate more granular data resource such RxNorm, DRON, and the SNOMED CT with IDMP-0 for a global medicinal product database."
