Hello flight simmers, and welcome back to Alpha Hotel Flight simulator training. This video is part 2 in a 3 part series on learning how to plan and fly a cross country trip under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR.) IFR cross country traing is where you combine all the skills you learn during your instrument traing, and use them in practical real world IFR flying. In this video we'll fly the second leg of our IFR training cross-country flight, flying from Texarkana, AR to Mena Arkanas, where we'll conduct an ILS approach. We'll utilize both ground based navigation and GPS navigation for both enroute navigation and the approach on this leg. In video one, we conducted a broad overview of the 3 leg intentary we will be flying to conduct our IFR cross country training, and then planned and flew the first leg from Addison TX, to Texarkana, AR.
