White Sauce Chicken Cutlets | Creamy Make & Freeze Chicken Cutlets Recipe | Freezer Friendly Snacks These creamy White Sauce Chicken Cutlets are crispy outside and soft inside, perfect for make-ahead snack prep and freezer storage. Made with 3 cups shredded chicken, rich white sauce, and cheddar cheese, this recipe is simple, practical, and ideal for busy days when you want ready-to-fry homemade snacks. Prepare once, freeze, and fry whenever needed. Ingredients: Cooking oil 2 tbsp Onion chopped 1 medium Garlic chopped 1 tbsp Boiled shredded chicken 3 cups Salt 1 tsp or to taste Crushed black pepper ½ tsp Capsicum chopped 3 tbsp White Sauce: Butter 3 tbsp (42g) Cooking oil 1 tbsp All-purpose flour 4 tbsp (32g) Milk 2 cups Dried oregano ½ tsp Salt ½ tsp or to taste Crushed black pepper ½ tsp Cheddar cheese grated 1 cup Coating: Eggs whisked 2 Breadcrumbs as required Cooking oil for frying Method: Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion until soft. Add garlic and cook briefly. Add shredded chicken, salt, and black pepper and cook 2–3 minutes. Add capsicum at the end and cook for 1 minute only. Remove from heat. Prepare white sauce by melting butter with oil. Add flour and cook on low heat for 1–2 minutes without browning. Gradually add milk while whisking continuously to avoid lumps. Add oregano, salt, and black pepper. Cook until thick and creamy. Add cooked chicken mixture into white sauce and mix well. Cook another 1–2 minutes until thick. Spread mixture into a tray and allow to cool completely. Once slightly warm, add grated cheddar cheese and mix. Shape into cutlets or kebabs. Dip in whisked eggs and coat with breadcrumbs. Make & Freeze Instructions: Place shaped cutlets on a tray and freeze until firm. Transfer to freezer bags and store up to 1–2 months. Fry directly from frozen on medium heat until golden and heated through. Frying Instructions: Heat oil on medium flame and fry cutlets until crispy golden outside and hot inside. Avoid high heat to prevent burning before heating through. Serving Suggestion: Serve hot with ketchup, chilli sauce, or garlic dip.
