A healthy meal , full of iron, essential nutrients, Potassium, rich in vitamins, antioxidants and a great immunity booster. Broccoli and beetroot are full of health benefits and flavors too. Here is a quick and easy recipe to include these healthy vegetables to your diet in delicious way. Ingredients: 1 medium beetroot boiled and puree 1 & 1/2 cup whole wheat flour 1 Broccoli grated 1 pinch asafoetida / Hing 1/4 tsp turmric powder 1 tsp carom seeds/ Ajwain 1 tsp chopped ginger 1 green chilli chopped 1 tsp chaat masala oil or Ghee to cook Salt to taste Method: 1) take flour in a bowl, add beetroot puree, salt , 1 tsp oil or ghee, little water and knead it to soft dough. /keep it to rest for 10 minutes. 2) now heat a pan, add oil or Ghee, then hing, carom seeds, turmeric, ginger and chilli, Saute and add grated broccoli. 3) cook for few minutes and add chaat masala and salt, mix well and cook for 7-8 minutes. 4) add 1 spoon wheat flour and cook, it will help to absorb extra water of brocolli and it will be easy to fill in the dough. once its dry , switch off flame and let it cool completely. 5) now roll a small dough ball and fill broccoli mixture , securely seal it from all sides and roll again in circle shape. 6) now put on heated tawa or skillet and by putting ol or ghee cook it from both sides on medium heat. 7) enjoy with your choice of chutney, pickle or yogurt.
