The Iron Rest is a flexible 100% silicone pad for hot irons. The silicone withstands the heat of a hot iron sole and protects the surface underneath. However, be careful with declicate surfaces. The pad does heat up a little. Place your hot iron flat on the pad on your ironing board while in use or to let it cool down on the pad.
