This presentation reviews HIDOH Environmental Action Levels for PFASs and compares the action levels to data for influent, effluent and biosolids samples collected at three wastewater treatment plants in Hawaii. The original presentation was given by Roger Brewer of the Hawaii Department of Health to the South Carolina DHEC PFAS Affinity Group on November 3, 2022. The presentation is similar to a presentation given to the USEPA FSTRAC group in September 2022 with some additional thoughts and notes on PFAS leaching risk, biosolids management and future field research projects.
