2025 Wildwood Airshow - GoPro Video of Scott Francis' Performance

Scott Francis once again was gracious enough to allow me to fly a GoPro during his aerobatic routine during Saturday's airshow. Unfortunately, the GoPro only captured the first portion of his routine, and I can't tell you why (though I know the battery didn't die). The 2025 Wildwood Airshow, better known as the Wildwoods "Thunder Over the Waves" Airshow was the inaugural airshow to take place along the beaches of Wildwood, New Jersey. The 2025 event took place with a practice airshow on Friday September 5 and the full airshow on Saturday September 6. The video showcased here was shot on Saturday September 6, 2025. Note that it was also rather breezy throughout the entire day and the intensity of the wind picked up throughout the afternoon. For the 2025 airshow season, ICAS has negotiated a deal that will allow issuance of music licenses for ICAS member air shows for all three US music licensing organizations: ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC. Each ICAS member air show is eligible for a single package of the three music licenses for one air show at the cost of $700 for a one (1) day air show; $1,000 for a two (2) day air show; $1,250 for a three (3) day air show; $1,500 for a four (4) day air show; $1,750 for a five (5) day air show, $2,000 for a six (6) day air show; and $2,250 for a seven (7) day air show. The rate applies only to music broadcast over the public address system during the public air show portion of the program (not practice/rehearsal/closed to the public days) and does not provide the air show with the right to use pre-recorded music at concerts or other non-air show special events held in conjunction with the air show.
